Pre-Algebra: Chapter 1-5
We worked on the distributive property and the related factoring process for expressions. Tomorrow we have our first quiz. We should have our notes and we can use a calculator. Remember to distribute the term outside of the parenthesis with ALL terms inside the parenthesis! For example 6(4a + 2b) becomes 6 * 4a + 6 * 2b which equals 24a + 12b.
Algebra: Chapter 1-5
We did a great job at quiz #1, the averages for all 3 classes was at least an 86%, great job! The quiz took a little longer that expected and lesson 1-5 on distributive and factoring will be continued tomorrow. Today’s homework is due on Friday but I encourage all students to try the first part of today’s homework on distributing expressions.
