Rylan’s #6, time flies!

Tuesday, May 5

Monday, May 4

Flew down from STS to SDG and to the La Jolla Hilton for tomorrow’s conference.

Flights on time, nice drive with a Buick Encore. The first Ducks/Knights hockey playoff game!

Dinner at Mama’s Pizza down the road, very light crust, a must-do again.

Doug and Lauren fly out to Phoenix tonight and us tomorrow to LAS.

Sunday, May 3

Girls Mother’s Day celebration with a Devil Wears Prada #2 movie matinee. The boys got to watch the girls and have our fun too.

Emee and Taylor and Yazmin flew out in the late afternoon back to Vegas.

Dinner was Thai from TinyThai, marginal.

Saturday, May 2

A busy birthday celebration that went great, lots of friends and family and fun. Sandwich turkey wraps for the adults.

Dinner out at Mi Pueblo, 11 of us, all good and entertaining, Rylan does not like loud celebrations.

The girls went to Emee and Taylor’s overnight. They are staying at the DoubleTree, marginal, they said.

Friday, May 1

Lots of prep and store stops, but Rosie is ready. We picked up Rylan and made our bubble juice formula for tomorrow’s party. Supposedly, about 30 kids invited, oh my!

The girls were tired so they stayed at home instead of overnight at the ‘hotel’.

Thursday, April 30

Breakfast at Primrose Cafe, always a wait, but good enough fare. We took the shuttle to the Aria/Crystal shops stop, right next door.

We took Rylan to school dropoff and kept Aidyn at home for some time with us.

The Sistine Chapel display was hi-res photos of the frescoes on the ceiling. All panels were organized with explanations and audio snippets. It was well done.

We had lunch at the Aria food court and headed to LAS. We did not check to see if our 4 pm to Santa Rosa was on time, we discovered that at the airport! Oh well, an hour or so late and we were in Santa Rosa with a 7 seat Buick Enclave SUV, very nice! We are staying this time at the Hilton Costa hotel.

Wednesday, April 29

We drove down to Las Vegas and stayed at the Park MGM, we stayed at the ‘Marriott Reserve’ hotel on the top 4 floors, we in room 3033. A nice room but not over the top either, kinda like the lowe floors, but darker. We have tickets tomorrow to see the Sistine Chapel display. We had dinner at Eataly and it was marginal at best. We don’t need to go back there, plenty of other options. It is just too presumptuous.
