Day 100

Pre-Algebra: Chapter 8-5

Problem Solving Strategy – Draw a Graph

We can use the technique of drawing a linear graph from known information to extrapolate (extend) or interpolate (look at values inside) information. We usually need at least 2 data points (x, y) to make a straight line for the graph.

We MUST use graph paper when we are drawing these graphs. The more accurate you are with building the graph, the better and more accurate your results can be.

Algebra: Chapter 6-4

Factoring x^2 + bx + c

The easiest way to explain this stuff is to click here, because this is how I would do it!  It can be helpful to make a table for the factors. TAKE YOUR TIME, AND, ONCE YOU HAVE YOUR ANSWER, FOIL TO CHECK YOUR WORK!!
