Addition and Subtraction: Unlike Denominators (Chapter 10-5)
This lesson is TOUGH and takes time to do right. We have to bring all of our tools to the problem. Know how to FOIL, recognize binomial squares (the difference of 2 squares), and use the BOX method of FACTORING ACCURATELY.
SHOW ALL THE WORK and you’ll be fine, try shortcuts and you’ll regret it.

Algebra 1a: Benchmark #4 Review
Please use my notes and the Benchmark Review to PRACTICE and DO ALL Problems for classwork and homework. The Benchmark is Friday and it will be used to determine next Friday’s (the 19th) remediation and enrichment activities. It is also worth 300 points to finish out our 3rd quarter.
Remember too, problems 21-25 are EXTRA CREDIT! DO YOUR BEST!!
