Day 90

Pre-Algebra: Chapter 7-7

Writing Inequalities

Key words like “greater than” (>) or “less than” (<) or "at least" (≥) or "at most" (≤) and "between" define particular inequalities. "Increased by" means add (+), "less than" means subtract (-). "Between" is a special case because it usually defines a compound problem. For example " z is between -4 and and at most 7" becomes " -4 < z ≤ 7". Just go slow and think about what the problem is asking for. Algebra: Chapter 5-10

Multiplying Binomials

FOIL is a key component of multiplying binomials or other larger polynomials. FIRST, OUTSIDE, INSIDE, LAST defines the order that 2 binomials are multiplied. Practice makes perfect and here is a link from Purplemath.
