Geometric Sequences
Geometric sequences are sequences in which the RATIO ( × or ÷) between any two sucessive terms is the same. The formula in the book on page 313 can also help you with large terms in a sequence. I can’t write the equation here because it has exponents!
The difference between geometric and arithmetic sequences is that arithmetic sequences in which the DIFFERENCE (+ or −) between any 2 consecutive terms is the same.
Algebra: Chapter 9 Review
We are getting ready for Benchmark number 2. Tomorrow and Thursday, we will have study sessions at 7:30 a.m. to prepare. The Benchmark covers Chapters 1, 2, 3, 4, 7 and a little bit of 8. Be relieved that Chapter 9 IS NOT included.
We will all do fine with the 2 practice benchmark review and the 2 homework packets we will do in the next 3 days.
