Multiplying and Dividing Decimals
You can multiply in the same way that you multiply whole numbers. It is helpful to use estimation to verify the placement of the decimal point.
To divide by a decimal, think of the division as a fraction and write the divisor or denominator as a whole number. Don’t forget to move the decimal point in the divisor and dividend if needed!
